hehe. today, while i was drawing, my mom came up
to me and said my picture was cute. then, she asked
me what kind of animal it was that i drew- it was
a walrus. then i spent the next couple minutes in
sheer laughter, because my mom could not pronounce
walrus correctly. and i know the chinese stereotype
of getting "l" and "r" mixed up, but the fact that
my mom could pronounce wall correctly, but not
walrus made me giggle uncontrollably. i even tried
my best to emphasize the "l" by adding an extra "luh"
before going into the "rus" but when she put it together,
it would come out "war-race"
