rebel with the Lion

Christians, rise up!
this is the war we are fighting- every day.
a battle against lust, against gluttony,
against greed, pride, and our flesh.
in this war, there are no tragedies, no
deaths, no wounds that cannot be healed
all because Christ is leading- He is
the front line. so, rise up, because
He has risen! and raise up the banner
of victory and truth! we must not conform
to the world. we must band together and
rebel against the prince of power of the air.
do not simply read the word of God-
but live it! fight your sin! and take up
your cross and follow Him. die to yourself
and rise up in Jesus' resurrection!
equip yourself with the belt of truth,
the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes
of readiness, the shield of faith, the
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit!
